Description

This specimen list by Charles R. W. Aschemeier of botanical specimens from the French Congo between 5 April 1917 to 5 October 1918 contains collector numbers 1-500 (although only 1-63 are populated with data). Specimens were collected in Omboué, Mpeti, Abouna, Ngongo, "Ogouma," and other localities which are currently within the nation Gabon, but at the time of collecting, was part of the French Congo. Aschemeier provides native names for some specimens, as well as some information about the type of environment in which the specimens were found.
