Description

The field books with attending photographs and map are part of Vaughan's collection at Smithsonian Institution Archives. Field notebooks, including photographs and postcards focus on studies of geology and paleontology through out the United States including New York, Virginia, California, Hawaii. Additionally, there is a series of field books on the study of corals of the Bahamas and the Pacific Ocean. Additional field notebooks on corals are located in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology.
