Biographical History

Max C. Thompson was born in 1936, and received his B.A. from Southwestern College, his M.A. from the University of Kansas, and conducted some of his graduate studies at Ohio State University. He was a Research Curator for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Thompson was also a Professor and Research Associate in Biology at Southwestern College (Kansas), and a Supervisor at Ruth Warren Abbott Laboratories.
