Biographical History

David Woodside, a wildlife biologist in Hawaii, took notes during field research for a survey of Laysan in July 1957. The notes are part of records of the National Museum of Natural History (U.S.) Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program, housed in the Smithsonian Institution Archives.
