Biographical History

Samuel Henshaw (1852-1941) was a natural historian and entomologist. He was Secretary and Librarian of the Boston Society of Natural History from 1892 to 1901. He also succeeded Dr. H. A. Hagen at the Museum of Comparative Zoology as an assistant in entomology. Among his publications is the List of Coleoptera of America North of Mexico in 1885.
