Biographical History

Karl V. Krombein (1912-2005) was Chairman of the Department of Entomology, 1965-1971 and Senior Entomologist, 1971-2000. His career took him from Cornell University, to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to the U.S. Air Force Malaria Control Unit, to the Smithsonian Institution.
