Biographical History

Robert R. Fleet received his bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Kansas and his doctorate at Texas A&M University. Since 1975 he has been on the faculty at Stephen F. Austin State University where he has taught in the departments of Forestry, English, Mathematics, Statistics and Biology. His doctoral research on the reproductive biology of the Red-tailed Tropicbird was carried out while he was employed by the Smithsonian's Pacific Ocean Biology Survey (1963-1965).
