Biographical History

Theodore H. Fleming (b. 1942) studied and collected in the field of zoology. His field work in Panama, 1966-1967, is documented in the National Museum of Natural History, Division of Mammals. He was a professor of biology at the University of Miami, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. After obtaining his PhD, he studied plant-animal interactions in the American tropics and Sonoran Desert for more than 30 years.
