Biographical History

André Goeldi was a botanist who collected grasses in Para, Brazil from approximately 1913 to 1920. He possibly worked with Albert Spear Hitchcock at some point, since he sent him specimen lists of the grasses he collected. Goeldi also created many black and white photographs of grasses and sedges.
