Biographical History

Mrs Margaret (L.O.) Sordahl was at on time stationed at the astrophysical observatory established by the Smithsonian Institution on Mount Brukkaros, in the Southwest African Protectorate. During that time she collected bird and mammal specimens that now reside with the U.S. National Museum. Collecting was carried on as time and opportunity permitted on the mountain, along the Fish River and at Berseba.
