Women's History Month is not only a good month to recognize and learn about inspiring women who have come before us, it is also the time to recognize women in our own lives who make a difference. If you have a mother, daughter, sister, spouse, or friend you'd like to recognize, drop her a line. For women who are inclined to a life of adventure, you may to send the Charlotte Gover Chapman card. Chapman led the double life of an anthropologist and CIA agent. For the woman who is always lending a helping hand, the Ruby Hirose card may be just the one. Hirose was a biochemist and bacteriologist who improved vaccines for hay fever and infant paralysis, among other things. For the visually inclined, you may want to send Joyce Jacobson Kaufman, a chemist who carried out the first all-valence-electron and three-dimensional quantum-chemical calculations. Wow. [wpecards]
