| The 1976 recreation of the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia included a section on the mammals of North America. The 1876 United States National Museum exhibit in Philadelphia and its 1976 successor in Washington included a spectacular polar bear, grizzly, foxes, big cats, mountain sheep, deer, and marine mammals.
