Historical Note
The Office of the Program Coordinator, a unit of the Education Division, develops programs for the general public that deal with various aspects of the decorative arts. Included in each semester's offerings are lecture series, tours, workshops, weekend seminars, luncheon lectures, and an assortment of special programs for young people. Funding is provided in part by registration fees, and in part through the contributions of private foundations and corporations.
Jane Clark served as program coordinator from the beginning semester in 1976 to 1978, when she was succeeded by Jennifer Jarvis. Since 1979, the position has been shared by Jarvis and Susan Yelavich.
Introduction
This finding aid was digitized with funds generously provided by the Smithsonian Institution Women's Committee.
