This accession consists of records that pertain to the "Facing the Lights: Historic American Portrait Daguerreotypes" exhibition. Materials include loan agreements with individuals, historical societies, university archives/libraries, and outside museums; lists of incoming loans, which register name of lender and transportation arrangements for objects; travel vouchers; lender sheets; photocopies of articles; correspondence and memoranda; exhibition scripts; photographs (mostly 8x10, black and white) of historic personages, permission forms to reproduce prints from originals, typeset labels to be photographed, and photo orders; notes; and lists of famous quotations (to the exhibit photographs). Additional materials can be found in Accession 99-094.
