A canopy bridge in the Bayano River Basin in Panama named the Alexander Wetmore Bridge in honor of ornithologist and sixth Secretary of the Smithsonian Alexander Wetmore. The photograph shows span of the bridge through the trees. There is one unidentified man standing on the bridge. This bridge is used to trap and band birds in the high canopy of the trees.
