Summary

Nancy Bechtol is named Director of the Office of Facilities Engineering and Operations (OFEO), effective July 1, 2012. Bechtol first joined the OFEO leadership team as the Director of Smithsonian Gardens in 1993. In 2002 she was promoted to Director of the Office of Facilities Management and Reliability (OFMR). Bechtol was presented with the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers Award for Excellence in 2006.
