Sir,
I beg leave through you to return to the very respectable "institute", of which you are an officer, my acknowledgements for the honor they have been pleased to confer on me. My pursuits in life will hardly qualify me to become a very useful member. It will, at all times, however, afford me the greatest pleasure, to promote by all the means in my power, the interesting course in which they are engaged.
Allow me, through you, to enclose to the treasurer the amount of entrance money required by the constitution, and to assure you of the very great respect, with which I subscribe myself
