Descriptive Entry
This accession consists of audiovisual elements created during the production of films and videos for exhibitions at the National Museum of American History. Some materials may be footage of an exhibition or public program. In a few cases, neither the title of the video nor the exhibition is known. Materials include videotapes, film, magnetic tape, and audiotapes. Some materials are in electronic format. Smithsonian Productions was previously known as Smithsonian Press/Smithsonian Productions, 1996-1998, and the Office of Telecommunications, 1976-1996.
