This accession consists of the website of the Amphibian Conservation and Rescue Project as it existed on July 16, 2013. The project rescues and establishes assurance colonies of amphibian species that are in extreme danger of extinction throughout Panama. The National Zoological Park and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute are both partner organizations and provide many of the administrative functions for the project. The website includes information about the project, its facilities, and the amphibians of Panama. In addition, the website includes a blog with posts dating from September 2009.
