APAHC's mission is to expand the presence and participation of Asian Pacific Americans in all aspects of the Smithsonian Institution's work. The files were created and maintained by Wendy Lim, Co-chair with Cecilia H. Chin, 1999-2000, and primarily document her tenure. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, mission statements, event announcements, brochures, clippings, and related materials.
