Summary

This collection contains eight field books by Charles Wallace Richmond, originally maintained by the Division of Birds. These field books consist of daily journals and specimen catalogs, dealing mostly with birds but also including some mammal, reptile, and amphibian information. Dates for this collection range from 1887-1898 and localities include but may not be limited to the United States, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Barbados, and Antigua and Barbuda. There are also notes on specimens donated to the United States National Museum (USNM).
