Summary

This collection contains one folder by Bernard R. Ross, originally maintained by the Division of Birds. The folder consists of miscellaneous field notes and specimen lists from Ross' bird and mammal collecting in the Northwest Territories of Canada from 1848-1862. Lists include specimens donated to the Smithsonian Institution with species name, date, locality, sex, physical characteristics and measurements, collector, and additional remarks. There are also additional separate notes on certain species, as well as an invoice and a portion of an index to Ross' catalog.
