Summary

This collection consists of miscellaneous field notes that make up "Miscellaneous Series I" on the Department of Botany field book inventory. The collection is comprised of 16 folders. Included are: 1) a list of specimens of Santo Domingo Flora, including a note of Frederick Vernon Coville, 1890, and Santo Domingo Commission of Inquiry, 1871; 2) a list of ferns, Jamaica, undated; 3) George Vasey, California trees, 1894; 4) Per Axel Rydberg, list of plants, Black Hills, South Dakota, 1892; 5) a list of plants, Duval County, Florida, 1894; 6) Joseph H. Simpson, field notes, Manatee, Florida, 1890; 7) Greenleaf C. Nealley, field notes, Texas, 1892; 8) Mr. Gay, field notes, locality unknown, 1835, in French; 9) Edgar Alexander Mearns, field notes, Mexico and Texas, 1892; 10) Lester F.
