Summary

This accession consists of the publications: "Past, Present, and Future: Challenges of the National Museum of the American Indian" and "Where We Live: A Puzzle Book of American Indian Art." "Past, Present, and Future: Challenges of the National Museum of the American Indian" is a compilation of papers presented at a symposium of the same name held at the National Museum of the American Indian in 2007 to honor the 18 year tenure of founding director, W. Richard West. The symposium explored the history of the museum and its direction for the future. "Where We Live: A Puzzle Book of American Indian Art" is a children's book that contains eight puzzle that show the different ways American Indian artists use their imaginations to draw where they live.
