PrintThis collection consists of the field books of Albert Spear Hitchcock from his botanical collecting activities between 1905 and 1918. The collection consists of 35 bound field books and two folders of loose notes. Locations include: Ecuador, British Guiana, Peru, Mexico, Philippines, China, Japan, Haiti, Bolivia, South Africa, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, and Canada. Hitchcock's field notes generally consist of specimen lists that document specimens collected in the field.
