Summary

Mildred Clare Scoville (1892?-1969) received a Lasker Award in 1949 from the National Committee for Mental Hygiene "in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the integration of mental health concepts in medical education and public health." In 1931, she had written the influential work "An Inquiry into the Status of Psychiatric Social Work.
