Historical Note

Herbert Friedmann retired as curator in 1960, as did Herbert Girton Deignan in 1961. Other curators represented in this material include Philip S. Humphrey, curator, 1962-1964; George E. Watson, assistant curator, 1963, associate curator, 1964, and curator, 1965-1968 and 1973- ; Richard L. Zusi, associate curator, 1964-1967, and curator, 1968- ; and Paul Slud, associate curator, 1965- .
