Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in Appalachian Valley - Tennessee and Virginia, 1908, 1911; Bulls Gap section and notes, 1907; Bassler's Tennessee Trip, 1907. The notebook begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Also contains typed notes on the contents of Notebook no. 14, which Ulrich lost in the field according to a note in folder 14. Entries contain detailed drawings with notes, geological sections, narrative descriptions of travel and work completed. Also reference to fossils present and photographs taken. Some entries are dated. Includes paged and loose inserts.
