Abstract

The volume documents field work of E. O. Ulrich in North Arkansas, Ouachita mountains, Western Franklin, and Central Texas, 1902, 1904, 1906, 1911. The notebook begins with a typed index listing location and page number. Entries are dated, sometimes narrative in structure with describing travel details. Observations are frequently listed along with drawings and geological sections. Includes details notes on color and composition of strata, as well as presence of fossils. Includes pasted inserts.
