Abstract

The loose sheets document the field work of Robert J. Horodyski in Missoula group, Montana, 1979. Entries describe characteristics and location of samples taken (RHG-1001 to RHG-1017), photographs taken, tables of data (location, fresh, weath, 10+ muddyss, 10+ clean med ss, ss + muddy ss.), descriptions of stromatolites, geological sections, descriptions of geological characteristics of strata. Some entries are narrative in structure and include descriptions of lithology, emergence structures, ripplemarks, crossbanding, and convolute lamination. Locations include but are not limited to Piegan mountain, Snowslip formation, Mount Reynolds in Glacier National Park.
