Abstract

The hydrographic sheet no. 1643 documents collecting of sea bottom specimens from Bushy Point to White Rock in California, May 12 - September 29, 1885. Lieut. E. D. Tassig, U.S.N., was commanding the party. The table of data includes date, locality, fathoms, and appearance. There is a note at the bottom on the sheet stating to see Hydrographic sheets nos. 1681 and 1778.
