Abstract

The notebook documents Harry S. Ladd's work relating to geology, including Geological Society of America meeting, December 28 - 30, 1922, and field work in Iowa and Missouri, June 18 - July 13, 1923. The volume begins with an index listing page and subject: geology notes, addresses, picture locations, daily log, money, work, correspondence, and lists of equipment. Field work entries consist of a list of Iowa fossil localities, and descriptions of geological sections in Missouri, organized by location. The daily log contains a narrative description of work in the field and daily activities. Includes loose inserts listing fossils.
