Abstract

The notebook documents the field work of Harry S. Ladd across the United States, circa 1915 - 1921. The volume begins with an index listing pages and subject matter: minerals, igneous rocks, sedimentary, metamorphic, phenomena. He states that he is giving no, date of collection, locality, collector, composition, and all other necessary data about specimen (when available). Notes about where specimen is collected varies; sometimes descriptions are lengthy. Includes sketches and geological sections. Includes locations in but not limited to Washington, Colorado, and Missouri.
