Abstract

This field book is primarily comprised of plant and animal specimen lists observed and taken from the field by Bailey between April 4-June 19, 1892 in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas. Lists are organized by date and locality, beginning with a list from Florence, South Carolina dated April 5, 1892 and ending with a list from "Ft. Smith" dated June 19, 1892. Scientific and common names, behavior of living specimens, and numbers of specimens taken from the field are sometimes noted.
