Abstract

An inserted table of contents contains a full listing of localities and corresponding collector numbers. This field book contains a specimen list of botanical specimens collected from 11 October - 29 December 1953 in Pennsylvania, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, California, Hawaii, Johnston Island, Wake Island, Japan, Philippines, and Guam. Collector numbers 34925-35323 are included. Specimen list includes scientific name, date, locality, collector number, and some physical descriptions including size and color. Also present are longer narrative notes on travel, vegetation, and other observations of localities visited. Localities include Mitake, Mikko National Park, Tone-gun, and Fukuoka (Japan); Luzon (Philippines); and Tamuning, Mt. Sinajana, Barrigada, Mt. Almagosa (Guam).
