Abstract

Wetmore records observations of birds in the vicinity of his home town, North Freedom, Wisconsin, May - July 1902. Entries are organized by date, which is listed on the back of each sheet. Entries are generally 1 to 3 pages (numbered at top with roman numerals), describing one observed event. He indicates the type of bird by its common name, and ends entires with time and location. He spends time noting birds actions and appearances as well as their nests, presence of eggs, and birdsongs.
