Biographical History

Boris Alexander Krukoff (1898-1983) was a consulting forester and economic botanist with the United States Rubber Company, the American Chicle Company, and Merck Company. He traveled to South America and Africa from 1925-1955 to collect botanical and wood specimens. He was also an honorary curator at the New York Botanical Garden and consulting botanist at the Merck Sharp and Dohme Research Laboratory.
